Job Description
This role assists customers in retail stores by determining their needs for Sherwin-Williams products, recommending solutions, answering questions, and promptly resolving concerns to ensure satisfaction and meet sales goals. Workers stay up-to-date on product features and maintain store visual standards to support overall retail operations.
Sherwin-Williams manufactures and distributes paints, coatings, and related products to wholesale and retail buyers across North America. The position requires working at multiple stores within a 20-mile radius of Store #3183 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, serving diverse customer bases in the home improvement sector.
Tasks include determining customer needs in person or by phone, recommending products and services, processing sales transactions with cash registers and payment systems, maintaining work order files, tinting and mixing products using equipment, stocking shelves, setting up displays, and assisting with deliveries. Workers interact with wholesale and retail customers, team members, and supervisors while handling electronic equipment, payment methods, merchandise valued at high costs, and responsible for access controls. A key challenge involves managing access to minors and reviewing criminal history to protect the business and customers.
The role includes a competitive wage range, work location at Sherwin-Williams stores in Oshkosh area, flexible hours that may include evenings and weekends, valid unrestricted driver's license requirement, and benefits like health benefits, retirement plans, paid time off, and well-being support. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
- Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
- Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally
- High School diploma or GED preferred
