Job Description
This role repairs A/C units, electrical wires, plumbing pipes, sheetrock walls, and appliances in apartments. Residents benefit from rapid solutions to issues that minimize disruptions in living spaces. Technicians use tools like wrenches, ladders, drills, and multimeters for diagnostics.
Tarantino Properties manages residential communities in the Florida area, maintaining properties for tenant satisfaction. The company operates complexes like Avesta Icon with focus on service requests. It provides housing with amenities for long-term occupancy.
Technicians paint walls with brushes and rollers, pick up grounds with rakes and bags, and clean common areas. They turn over vacants by fixing leaks with caulk and repairing cabinet hinges. Work requires on-call availability; interactions involve explaining repairs via phone. One challenge is lifting heavy appliances in tight spaces during 9am-5pm shifts.
Base pay plus commission; benefits include 401k, dental, health, PTO, vision. Full-time position with onsite experience required.
Responsibilities
- Respond to residential service requests
- Paint walls and pick up grounds
- Resolve maintenance issues in A/C
- Resolve maintenance issues in electrical
- Resolve maintenance issues in sheetrock repairs
- Resolve maintenance issues in plumbing
- Resolve maintenance issues in appliance repair
- Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status
- Cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
- Provide outstanding customer service
Requirements
- At least 2 plus of onsite experience
