Responsibilities
- Greet patients in a professional and engaging manner
- Fax labs and hospital reports including operative reports
- Clinic chart prep by reviewing charts daily for visits
- Liaison for athletic trainers, school athletes, and outside offices for Sports MDs
- Work no-shows per no-show protocols and document in chart
- Coordinate Hospital Consult calls with On Call Physician when records are required
- Provide exceptional patient care including rooming patients and escorting to ancillary services
- Obtain patient medical histories, chief complaints, and prepare patients for examination
- Review patient charts and files for completeness
- Respond to patient or payor phone calls
- Assist physicians with other clinic operations activities
