Job Description
Automotive financing for dealerships expands through prospecting and training efforts, helping over 43,000 dealer partners in North America sell more vehicles. This role manages relationships by presenting products and forecasting loan approvals to boost dealership sales and customer approvals. Individuals structure vehicle loans for profitable agreements between lenders and dealerships to facilitate automotive purchases across all 50 states.
Westlake Financial serves as the largest privately held auto finance company in the United States, managing assets exceeding $18 billion in a growing industry. The firm partners with dealerships throughout North America, including Puerto Rico, to diversify operations and expand market share yearly. Westlake believes in purpose-driven talent that assists in dealer management through training and prospecting to cement leadership in lending.
Responsibilities include preparing proposals using PowerPoint for dealership meetings and identifying prospects via email and phone calls from lists of independent and franchise dealers. Managers follow up on leads by conducting in-person visits to teach programs like fast funding requirements, requiring a valid state driver's license for local travel up to 40 miles daily. They restructure vehicle loans using platforms such as DealerTrack or Routeone to ensure approvals meeting $225,000 earning potential for top performers. Significant local travel in markets like Los Angeles involves navigating diverse dealer teams via effective communication, with presentations delivered to senior management. A primary constraint emerges from the fast-paced field environment demanding consultative approaches to grow dealer bases without outsourced agencies.
This full-time remote position offers target earnings ranging $60,000-$130,000 annually, including performance-based commissions with guaranteed minimums rising from $5,000 monthly after the first year to $1,000 monthly plus commissions.
