Job Description
Physical therapists in national traveler roles provide outpatient orthopedics care by developing evidence-based care plans and delivering outcomes-driven therapy to patients across 28 states. This position helps patients recover faster through personalized treatments while exploring new communities.
Benchmark Physical Therapy operates as a regional brand within Upstream Rehabilitation, the nation's largest dedicated outpatient rehab provider. The network includes over 1,200 clinics and 26+ regional brands like BenchMark, Results, and Drayer, serving millions of patients with dedicated rehabilitation services.
Daily activities involve delivering therapy sessions in outpatient clinics, developing care plans based on patient needs, collaborating with local clinical teams across brands, and using one EMR system for consistent documentation. Work occurs in fast-paced clinical settings with assignments lasting 13 weeks on average, including 6- or 12-month options, requiring travel between locations. One challenge is maintaining skills during transitions without risking cancellations for full-time work.
Compensation ranges from $120,000 to $145,000 annually plus monthly housing stipends and productivity bonuses. Locations span nationwide with guaranteed full-time positions. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active or pending Physical Therapist license in applicable state(s)
