The role performs post-occupancy evaluations to gather user feedback on completed projects, informing future needs through data analysis. This supports decision-making for energy and water use improvements across portfolios.

The City of New York manages the NYC Department of Design and Construction, aligning with citywide objectives for conditions, accessibility, and decarbonization. They liaise with agencies to plan capital needs, offering tools for advanced planning in construction and design. Portfolios include diverse public structures needing strategic upgrades.

Key tasks involve developing understanding of agency goals and capital needs through technical analyses and coordination with program staff.
