Ramp Agents unload cargo from planes using cargo belts and loaders, ensuring timely departures for thousands of daily flights. They guide aircraft with air start units and push-back tugs, contributing to on-time performance in aviation operations. Working outside in variable weather, they load baggage and freight onto jetway stairs, directly supporting travelers and shippers.

Part-time schedules involve 32 hours over five days with seniority-based bidding, including weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime. Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, service, guide, and direct Company Aircraft
  • Receive and record baggage, air freight, mail and company materials
  • Warehouse, weigh, stack, pick up and deliver air cargo
  • Complete forms and paperwork connected with work assignments
  • Provide friendly service to and maintains positive relationships with internal and external Customers
  • Perform interior aircraft cabin cleaning

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in U.S.
  • Valid state motor vehicle operator's license
  • Ability to obtain a SIDA badge and meet local airport requirements
  • Age at least 18 years
  • Ability to work shift work and/or overtime
  • Comply with Company attendance standards
  • Ability to obtain Customs Seal and meet international flight requirements (may be required)
