Job Description

This position supervises residential staff and monitors site operations for recovery support. The role assists in ensuring compliance with policies and promoting client goals. By collaborating on service plans, it fosters environments for mental health rehabilitation. Managing maintenance and incident responses improves client safety. Facilitating group activities supports independent living skills effectively.

East House serves as a non-profit organization committed to recovery journeys. They provide residential support, counseling, peer support, and community outreach. Services empower individuals overcoming mental health and substance use disorders. Founded with a mission for supportive healing through long-term recovery. Operating within the greater Rochester area including Monroe County.

Supervising residential advisors and peer support specialists involves scheduling and support. Monitoring documentation for accuracy including shift notes. Participating in hiring and onboarding new team members. Supporting service plan compliance across agency policies. Maintaining physical sites for cleanliness, safety, and repairs. Reviewing incidents with follow-up actions in collaborative settings.

$5K sign-on bonus offered for qualified applicants. Requires associate’s degree in human services and two years related experience. OASAS licensed programs need advanced counselor CASAC or QHP. Prefer supervisory experience and safe driving records.

Work involves siting, hearing, walking, reaching, typing. Occasional light lifting and stair climbing required.

Environment includes traditional offices with pressure from time demands. Travel within Rochester area possible outside county.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in human services-related field and 2 years experience or equivalent

  • Supervisory experience preferred

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and electronic documentation
