Job Description

Assistant construction project managers oversee schedules for construction crews to ensure sites have adequate staffing. This role supports evaluation of job sites for inspection standards and manages contract proposals along with approvals. Those in this position work directly with construction project managers to align EquipmentShare locations to quarterly audit criteria for Standard Criteria Plans.

EquipmentShare equips contractors and communities with innovative technology and real-time support. The company transforms construction practices that have been delayed by outdated methods. EquipmentShare focuses on empowering teams through proprietary T3 platforms that improve safety and productivity for users.

Daily tasks include evaluating machinery such as tools or equipment resources to schedule maintenance and repairs. Staff review financial statements alongside inventory levels to control costs. Interactions occur regularly with clients, vendors, and crews while maintaining schedules. Travel constitutes 75 percent of the time with potential overnight stays serving as a challenge.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in construction industry
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, project management software, and accounting systems
  • Ability to work in team environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel 75% of time with some overnight
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work in United States
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Physically able to sit, drive, reach overhead, kneel, stoop, bend, stand, walk
