Job Description
The job screens donors for plasma donation eligibility, converting plasma into vital medicines for individuals with rare conditions. Staff take donor vital signs, perform finger stick tests, screen new and repeat donors using Donor Information System for records, and prepare donor charts. Records management includes accurate storage, coordination of donor compensation via Debit Card system, and answering phones to ensure donor and team safety, assisting in identifying operational improvements through methods like 5S. Availability for any day shifts up to 7:30 PM requires scheduling flexibility across weekends and holidays. Takeda provides transparent pay with a starting hourly wage of $17.00, following state minimums. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk or stand for entire work shifts
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Capacity to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders or below knees
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
- One or more years minimum experience in customer-facing role
