National traveler physical therapists offer outpatient rehabilitation services at clinics across states, developing plans for patient recovery. Therapists create evidence-based plans and provide outcomes-driven therapy in typical 13-week rotations or 6-12 month options. They collaborate across brands and can transition to permanent roles. Travel requires adapting quickly. A challenge includes maintaining full-time hours without cancellations. Continuous insurance coverage persists during PCTO and relocations.
Salaries range from $120k to $135k, supplemented by non-taxed housing stipends and travel reimbursements. Full-time schedules include PTO, holidays, relocation days, and tiered bonuses. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active or pending Physical Therapist license in applicable state(s)
