This apprenticeship provides training in casino operations for skilled Slot Supervisors, supporting Nisqually Tribal Members. Work involves performing Slot Attendant duties under supervision, learning the gaming floor operations and player club system. Responsibilities

  • Sell slot tickets.
  • Make correct change on the floor or behind the counter.
  • Explain how to play machines offered in the casino.
  • Troubleshoot basic machine malfunctions.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Nisqually Tribal Member.
  • Willingness to study toward and earn a GED or high school diploma.
  • Ability to learn all aspects of the Slot Attendant Department.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures.
  • Ability to learn and use basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work within time constraints and stay on task.
  • Positive guest service and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License.
  • Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, squat, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and move continuously.
  • Washington State driver's license.
