This field-based role sells pharmaceutical products in rheumatology, building relationships with healthcare providers to recommend treatments that alleviate chronic joint pain and improve mobility for patients suffering from autoimmune conditions. Representatives execute brand strategies by pre-calling with SMART objectives, post-call evaluations, objection handling, and creating call plans achieving metrics through tools like CRM systems. They assess customer needs, market landscapes, and competitors, differentiate value propositions to experts and advocates, and analyze data to develop strategies. Work involves traveling to physicians, pharmacists, and nurses, using driving to reach Pensacola and Mobile areas, with the challenge of meeting industry credentialing like background checks and vaccinations.

Compensation aligns with experience, location, and job grade, heading toward posted ranges with incentives. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business, or equivalent experience
  • Relevant experience of at least 5 years total, 3 or more in pharmaceutical or health industry
  • Proven sales success and presentation skills
  • Experience in leadership roles and team support
  • Track record in sales with solid abilities in influencing others
  • Experience in assigned therapeutic areas
  • Industrial experience such as selling to physicians or managed care
  • English language proficiency verbal and in writing
  • Satisfaction of healthcare representative credentialing
  • Ability to pass drug screening and meet driving requirements
