Job Description

Supporting manufacturing IT systems involves integrating applications like VB.Net, ASP, and C# to optimize production at aluminum plants. This role enables faster order processing and inventory tracking, benefiting automotive and aerospace clients by reducing downtime. Developers troubleshoot issues and document requirements, using database technologies such as SQL, PL/SQL, and SSIS.

Daily duties include configuring systems with Python, Java, and C, while collaborating on projects using Agile Methodology and CI/CD pipelines. Employees gather business requirements for automation and BI reports, designing solutions with REST Web Services and Docker Containers. Tasks involve defining strategies with Infrastructure teams, communicating status to steering committees, and testing for SOX compliance. Interactions encompass development groups, business stakeholders, and audit teams in manufacturing settings. Work location is at Bettendorf facility in Iowa, with full-time on-site arrangement. Standard hours follow Monday to Friday schedules, with potential for project-based overtime. Responsibilities

  • Support, maintain, and improve IT environments critical to manufacturing operations
  • Assist in integrating manufacturing applications with other business systems
  • Collaborate with development and support teams to troubleshoot and enhance applications
  • Gain exposure to business processes in manufacturing and how IT supports them
  • Participate in project activities including requirements, software development, planning, documentation, testing
  • Help ensure systems meet security and compliance requirements
  • Contribute to innovation and process improvement initiatives
  • Pursue continuous learning consistent with evolving job requirements
  • Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for automation, BI, and reporting
  • Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field with GPA 3.0 or higher
  • Strong interest in IT systems, software development, and manufacturing technology
  • Experience with languages like VB.Net, ASP, C#, Java, Python, or C
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • ITAR compliance as U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee
  • Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, SSIS, Powershell preferred
  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript, PHP preferred
  • Experience with Agile Methodology preferred
  • Knowledge of Docker, Containers, Kubernetes preferred
  • Interest in CI/CD Pipelines and REST Web Services preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills preferred
