Responsibilities
- Prepare each order following company recipes, carryout procedures, plating standards
- Ensure food handling and sanitation procedures
- Prepare visually appealing meals timely, deliver hot and fresh
- Follow recipes for meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, foods on proper methods
- Work with approved equipment and cooking methods for high quality meals
- Practice and uphold health and sanitation standards
- Maintain high standards of personal grooming, washing hands, wearing gloves, changing apron if soiled
- Understand and comply with portion sizes, quality, kitchen rules
- Maintain high quality and appearance for foods served
- Prioritize food preparation for all items on check finished together
- Properly maintain and operate equipment safely
- Complete working knowledge of kitchen equipment
- May assist in other job categories
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of restaurant concepts and practices
- Judgment for goal accomplishment
- Detail-oriented with multi-tasking ability
- High degree of pace and intensity, strong menu knowledge
