The position supports research efforts on tuberculosis and COVID-19 by performing molecular biology assays and managing laboratory data in specialized labs. Responsibilities
- Conduct molecular biology experiments including DNA/RNA isolation and PCR
- Perform immunology experiments such as tissue culture and lymphocyte isolation
- Support laboratory operations with reagent preparation and inventory management
- Perform microbiology experiments including media preparation and bacterial culturing
- Assist team members with day-to-day tasks and data management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- General knowledge of BSL2 biosafety protocols
- BSL3 experience preferred but not required
