Job Description
This role operates a collection truck to collect waste from customers, inspecting vehicles and reporting issues before each route.
Republic Services leads in environmental services, managing waste collection with vertical integration across North America, serving 13 million customers.
Duties include pre-operation vehicle checks, operating manual controls for compactor use, interacting courteously with dispatchers, tagging unacceptable containers, cleaning spills, monitoring vehicle conditions, completing VCR reports, following productivity standards, and abiding by safety policies, with the need to handle challenging customer interactions throughout routes.

Requirements
- Class B Commercial Driver’s License with air brakes
