Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Public Administration, Business, or related field
  • 5-7 years experience in communications, journalism, marketing, or public relations
  • Expert knowledge of computer software including desktop publishing, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and web design software
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 7-10 years experience preferred
  • FEMA Public Information Officer Course Certification preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
