Staff unload shipments with forklift, equipment. Receive products, materials, inspect damages, verify quantities against slips, orders. Secure materials organized, safe, consistent, proper rotation. Process enter receiving, inventory paperwork promptly, accurately. Utilize software to document goods. Submit paperwork daily with log to Accounts Payable. Maintain files orderly. Support warehouse teams locations. Assist manager with irregular Stock in timely. Participate inventory counts. Follow Lighthouse procedures. Responsibilities
- Work with shipping/receiving team to ensure responsibilities accomplished timely, efficiently
- Work with S&R Manager complete paperwork responsibilities daily
- Review order status report daily and plan shipments
- Communicate to S&R Team daily outbound and inbound expectations
- Review finished goods inventory and coordinate with production on shortages
- Communicate with customers regarding routing requirements
- Request and evaluate transportation quotes
- Prepare shipping documents as needed
- Load shipments on to trucks using forklift and hand equipment
- Perform Shipping Inspections daily for compliance
- Unload shipments from trucks using forklift and hand equipment
- Receive all incoming products, materials, items, inspect damages, verify items and quantities against packing slips and purchase orders
- Secure all received and existing materials organized, safe, consistent, proper rotation
- Process and enter all receiving, inventory and other required paperwork promptly, accurately
- Utilize company software to accurately document all goods received
- Submit paperwork daily documenting received orders along with receiving log to Accounts Payable
- Maintain files pertaining to all warehouse activities in neat and orderly manner
- Support/assist warehouse teams at all locations as needed
- Assist S&R Mgr. with production, receiving, and procurement identify, correct irregularities
- Participate in regular inventory counts
- Consistently follow all Lighthouse procedures detailed in Quality System
- Strive continuously improve efficiency systems and operational aspects
- Conduct all business in positive, relationship-building manner integrate production, inventory, accounting and quality functions
- Follow all ISO procedures as required
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong basic math skills and communication in verbal and written English
- Knowledge shipping/receiving/inventory, warehouse operations
- Experience clerical, planning, and loading
- Proficient in general computer skills, internet applications, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Excellent forklift skills, ability obtain and maintain certification
