Job Description
This role builds aerospace components by following assembly drawings, fitting parts, riveting, swagging, and crimping in sequence. It supports production accuracy through disassembly, repair, and reassembly of units, detecting issues like defective parts to request replacements. The work produces reconditioned items for aircraft, engines, weapons pods, cruise missiles, avionics, and electronic systems.
Triumph manufactures thermal and fluid management solutions for commercial and military aerospace platforms, including mission-critical applications across those systems.
Activities involve using tools like spot welders, drill presses, arbor presses, ovens, hydraulic presses, air presses, riveting machines, and hand tools. Measurements are taken with scales, calipers, dial indicators, and universal load testing fixtures. Workers report unusual conditions to technicians or supervisors and adhere to policies while contributing to team improvements. A physical demand includes occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds in sit-stand-walk environments.

Responsibilities
- Work from assembly drawings, identify parts, and follow assembly sequences
- Perform assembly, fitting, filing, reaming, riveting, crimping, swagging, adjusting
- Disassemble, repair, and reassembly returned or salvaged units
- Detect defective or incorrect parts and request replacements
- Assist in set-up of equipment
- Use light machines and tools such as spot welder, drill press, arbor press, oven, presses, riveting machine, and hand tools
- Use measuring gauges like scales, calipers, universal load testing fixture
- Report unusual conditions to Production Tech and/or Supervisor
- Contribute to continuous improvement of business
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and instructions
Requirements
- High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent
- 2-4 years of experience preferred
- General mechanical knowledge/background
- Safe use of hand and power tools
- Ability to follow instructions (oral and written)
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams preferred
- Intermediate computer skills
