This associate sells in Macy's Fashion Place, engaging customers for personalized recommendations. Workers greet visitors, update displays, and process sales using registers. They focus on loyalty programs and end interactions warmly.

Work includes starting days by reviewing goals, learning trends, and recovering floors with ladders up to eye level. Associates maintain shoppable spaces, communicating with colleagues for support. Lifting 25 pounds and standing consecutive hours is a physical constraint. Tools are handheld devices, cash registers, and computers.
Compensation based on position, education, and experience. Part-time, typically 12-24 hours per week, including weekends. Benefits available for part-time. Responsibilities

- Take time to understand each customer's needs, offering personalized recommendations and connecting them with right products and services
- Stay focused on achieving selling goals by driving performance through customer engagement and smart selling behaviors
- Help keep shopping space clean, organized, and inviting
- Greet teammates with warm hello and ensure sales floor is prepared
- Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items
- Stay up to date on current trends and promotions
- Offer warm welcome, make eye contact, and create friendly, personal conversations to create customer relationships
- Maintain shoppable space by recovering floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, supporting merchandise moves
- Finish strong by sharing Loyalty program benefits, making sure customers have all they need, ending with sincere thank-you
- Support one another with honesty, care, and collaboration to better serve customers
- Strive to improve every day, take pride in work, achieve sales goals, and learn from each other
Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular attendance
- Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues
- Resourceful and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Handle electronic devices with no problem
- Standing for at least two consecutive hours
- Lifting at least 25lbs
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- Reaching including above eye level
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including cash register and processing register transactions
