Managers interact with meat clerks, communicate with store supervisors, and face the challenge of upholding sanitation standards in temperatures between 28 and 32 degrees during frequent bending and lifting.
Full-time schedules require shifts best suiting meat operations, including nights and weekends, at no specified pay but with benefits such as paid time off. Training in food safety procedures supports career development, though the role demands work in cold environments.
