Assistant managers supervise retail store staff and operations in the store manager's absence, ensuring effective management of sales floors and stockrooms in streetwear and sneaker stores. Work involves setting up sales promotions, processing registers, assisting with visual merchandising per standards, managing markdowns and transfers, and evaluating staff performance. Managers use Aptos systems for transactions, Excel for tracking, and communication tools for teams. Interactions include partnering with district managers, asset protection, and human resources. Standing long shifts, lifting 15-30 pounds, and responding to store alarms are required.
