The role builds client relationships that drive revenue growth in the automotive sector by coordinating sales strategies with key accounts. Responsibilities
- Develop annual and three-year strategic sales plans for assigned accounts aligned with Automotive Unit objectives
- Assist in creating annual budgets and action plans for assigned accounts
- Recommend and execute sales strategies and marketing plans per budgets to meet sales, growth, margin, and profit goals
- Achieve sales goals, EBIT objectives, and growth for assigned accounts using action plans and pricing strategies
- Manage sales activities to meet objectives in assigned accounts
- Resolve customer service issues including invoicing, re-bills, and debits/credits
- Act as a resource for identifying and resolving customer-related issues
- Establish and maintain key industry contacts and trade relations
- Deliver sales presentations to key clients
- Perform special projects assigned by directors and VP of sales
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or engineering field
- Minimum five years of sales experience with demonstrated goal achievement
- Proven record of creativity, innovation, sales growth, and significant achievement
- Familiarity with adhesives, sealants or acoustics in the automotive industry preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical, planning, time management, and quantitative skills
