The licensed practical nurse provides healthcare in school settings, administering care to students with varying needs during daytime hours. This role supports children and families by ensuring medical attention in educational environments, addressing conditions like diabetes or autism through personalized interventions. Nurses follow protocols for non-verbal clients, execute doctor's orders, and document assessments to maintain student health and safety amidst academic activities.

Pay starts at an enhanced rate up to $35 per hour for the first 60 days, with ongoing rates for Monday through Friday shifts from 8 AM to 4 PM. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Current valid nursing license in the U.S.
  • Graduation from a qualified nursing program
