Managing complex capital projects ensures timely completion of public structures from inception to close-out, balancing schedules, budgets, and sponsor visions. The role supervises staff, resolves issues, and negotiates with contractors, maintaining safety and reporting progress. This supports the city's infrastructure needs across the five boroughs.

Responsibilities
- Manage complex capital commitment projects

- Work with sponsor agencies from inception
- Oversee projects from conception to close-out

Requirements
- Permanent in Associate Project Manager title or reachable on exams #3573, #3110
- Minimum qualifications for Assignment Level I including one or two additional years in supervisory capacity
- Baccalaureate in specified fields plus experience
- High school diploma plus experience or equivalents
