The director leads UND LIVE initiative to integrate high value care into medical curricula, embedding process improvement projects for better patient outcomes. It shapes medical training by incorporating principles like patient safety and health equity. This role advances healthcare workforce development through partnerships with health systems.

University of North Dakota awards degrees and conducts research in various fields, serving over 13,000 students across disciplines. The institution focuses on medical education through the School of Medicine and partnerships like UND LIVE. It aims to enhance clinical excellence and organizational performance via transformative health system integrations.

Directors design and evaluate integrated curricula, aligning with health system priorities using QI methodologies and informatics. They co-develop trainings for medical students, residents, and professionals in nursing, pharmacy, and therapies. Interactions involve facilitating faculty appointments, mentoring, and collaborating with clinical departments on projects. They track data outcomes, promote dissemination, and cultivate stakeholder relationships for program advancement.

The position offers $12,500 as contract compensation, with 100% remote availability and hybrid options requiring some campus time. Directors must complete a criminal history background check and verify US work eligibility. No visa sponsorship is provided. Requirements

  • Strong understanding of value-based care and QI methodologies
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
