Job Description
Mental health therapists deliver remote evidence-based therapy to adult clients aged 18 and older using modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, MBCT, TLDP, IPT, EFT, and MI. They adjust approaches based on client progress data tracked through tools like PHQ-9. Professionals collaborate with other mental health providers as needed and document notes in electronic health records compliant with HIPAA and state regulations.

Sessions run between seven clients and twenty weekly with availability from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Eastern time, Monday through Friday. Therapists maintain progress notes in systems like those for documenting sessions. Ongoing support includes case consultation and monthly APA-accredited courses. Clients are referred when appropriate requiring coordination with providers.
Hourly rate reaches $52.50 for Maryland residents or up to $70 for out-of-state, paid semi-monthly with W-2 benefits including tax handling. Employees earn up to 80 hours of paid sick time, merit-based raises, a retirement 401(k) plan, and malpractice insurance at no cost. Sessions total eight to 24 hours weekly with 85% devoted to client interactions and the rest for administrative tasks. Requirements
- Licensed as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Licensed Psychologist in Maryland
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience with adults (18+)
- At least 6 months teletherapy experience
- Available 8-24 hours per week with 85% in client sessions
- Session availability Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. EST
- Available 1 hour per week for training first 4 weeks, then 30 minutes monthly
- Proficient with clinical assessments like PHQ-9
- Experience using electronic health/medical record systems
