Job Description
This position creates graphics for large proposals and SOQs, designing custom presentations with animations, videos, sound, and storyboarding for public clients. It incorporates photography from digital libraries, follows branded templates, and resolves edits with subject experts. The role supports winning pursuits in regions like California or Washington.

Responsibilities
- Advanced graphics or multi-media design for large or complex and must win proposal/SOQs for public clients
- Partner with proposal manager and capture managers on must win pursuits, regional/state priorities, and/or Alternative Delivery pursuits, including communicating clearly with the team, participating in meetings and calls to collaborate and gather input
- Develops creative custom presentations, incorporating animation, video, voice-over/sound or other components or liaisons with multi-media designers
- Able to lead storyboarding/content planning for proposal and presentation/ interview teams
- Designs documents and presentations for print or digitally displayed formats, following branded templates and guidance
- Creates branded and custom graphics, templates or illustrations to support messaging and themes and identifies appropriate photography or imagery using Digital Libraries
- Participates as part of pursuit team on planning, storyboarding/content planning and reviews (e.g. Pink and Red)
- Works with authors and subject experts to develop custom illustration for technical information such as process, tables, charts or photorealistic graphics or diagrams or animations (2D/3D)
- Provides technical or logistics support for presentation, video conferencing meetings, storyboarding sessions, key review meetings / final document review
- Oversees and supports finalization of document for production, packaging or shipping
- Participates regularly in focused teams such as marketing best practices, graphics roundtable and ability to provide, receive, and apply feedback
- Provides input and best practices to support marketing organization related to graphic design, template or the adoption of new tools or technologies to enhance efficiencies, creative design and collaboration in winning work
Requirements
- BA/BS degree + 6 years of relevant Graphic Design Experience or a demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience
- BA/BS, preferably in Graphic Design computer animation, digital arts, Communications, Marketing or a related field (preferred)
- 8 years of experience preferred
- Strong in desktop/multimedia software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and presentation software (e.g. PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of word processing programs (e.g., Microsoft Word) and spreadsheet management (Excel)
- Strong experience with video editing, photography or website or animations
- Strong understanding of industry graphic design/ marketing best practices and procedures, work processes, and tools and evidence of past support on projects or teams
- Strong knowledge of A/E industry, and understanding of firm business line offerings, clients, projects, people, credentials, competitors
- Strong understanding of presentation design and production, and a knowledge of how to visually convey messages, themes, discriminators, and responses to evaluation criteria clearly and effectively in proposals and presentations
- An understanding of AECOM’s structure, businesses, clients, standards, business development practices and priorities, and principles of corporate conduct
- Strong knowledge and use of collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc
