The base salary ranges from $301,000 to $418,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. The full-time position is located in unspecified areas.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product management and engineering to define the strategic outlook for the Hybrid and On-prem Infrastructure business, ensuring alignment across all cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Engineering, Ops, etc.)
- Drive the business case, commercial engagements, Go-to-Market (GTM) success, and manage the entire end-to-end profit and loss, including forecasting, metric management, and pricing strategy
- Define and enhance the installation, operations, developer experience, control plane APIs, and maintenance to ensure reliable, high-performance operations and the timely delivery of new product initiatives
- Act as the primary advocate for customers, shaping the product roadmap, developer experience, training, and support to ensure solutions meet customer needs and deliver delight
- Create and manage strategic partnerships with data center, operations, and hardware partners, while building and developing a growth-fostering team of tech leads and engineers
Requirements
- 15 years of experience in the computing infrastructure or cloud industry, including 5 years of experience as a Product Engineering/Management leader with a research experience
- Experience with on-premises/hybrid products
- Experience leading and managing infrastructure teams
- Multidisciplinary experience leading product, engineering, and research teams in complex, cross-functional environments preferred
- Experience with ideation and innovation of technology at scale preferred
- Deep technical expertise in systems and software to influence technical leaders and guide mission-critical research preferred
- Ability to balance detailed technical guidance with "big picture" strategy for effective product delivery and data management at scale preferred
- Excellent communication skills to simplify complex technical topics for executive leadership to influence company strategy preferred
- Credibility as an engineering leader with a focus on engineering excellence and sustainable practices preferred
