Duties include reconciling payroll with commissions, administering cards and DOT fleet, configuring HRIS systems like Dayforce or SAP, handling workers' compensation claims, and collaborating on onboarding, relations, and engagement. Reports to managers and agencies, with occasional travel to branches. Physical demands involve sitting extended periods, lifting 20 pounds, and operating computers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll processing including regular and commission-based pay
  • Oversee compensation and commission programs and reporting
  • Coordinate HR and payroll data submission to Sonepar
  • Administer business cards, uniforms, and DOT/fleet compliance
  • Support HRIS systems configuration and troubleshooting
  • Manage Workers’ compensation and insurance claims
  • Handle unemployment claims and agency responses
  • Partner on employee relations, benefits, onboarding, policies
  • Support engagement, performance, investigations, bonuses
  • Ensure compliance with laws and policies

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience including generalist responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of payroll, compensation, and compliance
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (Dayforce preferred; SAP, SuccessFactors plus)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Supervisory experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related
  • PHR/SPHR certification plus
  • Experience in wholesale distribution
