Job Description
Patients receive personalized care from nursing assistants who address their daily needs in a specialized sleep lab setting. Nursing assistants partners with registered nurses, medical assistants, and respiratory therapists to deliver physical care and perform basic nursing procedures. They assist with patient mobility, repositioning, transfers, and intentional rounding.

UW Health also features an 84,000-square foot facility at Research Park in Madison.
Daily tasks involve providing direct physical care, engaging with patients and families to build trust, and handling administrative duties like assisting with Certified Medical Necessity Forms and scheduling. Work occurs in a clinic environment using electronic records for documentation. Staff follow established policies for treatments and interact with visitors, patients, and their families throughout the process. A key constraint is maintaining compliance with State of Wisconsin Nurse Assistant Registry requirements within a structured 40-hour Monday to Friday schedule.
The position offers external hires up to a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Located at 6001 Research Park Blvd. in Madison, Wisconsin, it operates 100% FTE, 40 hours per week, from 8am to 5pm. Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical care and basic nursing procedures

Requirements
- Graduate of State of Wisconsin approved Nurse Aid Training Program Required
- 1 year of recent experience as a Nursing Assistant Preferred
- Listed on the State of Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry Upon Hire Required
- BLS/CPR certification within 3 months Required
