Work demonstrates knowledge of drip coffee, cold beverage, espresso, pastry stations, follows Simple Service Steps and Magic Selling, educates and samples products, performs station duties, opens/closes areas, maintains PAR stock and presentations, produces recipes meeting speed standards, follows merchandising, maintains hygiene, fosters acceptance and respect. Challenge includes flexible retail hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, no formal education required, 1-2 years related experience preferred.
Seasonal role at Galleria, hours dependent on business needs, typically 12-24 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate knowledge of drip coffee, cold beverage, espresso bar, pastry stations
- Follow company standards and maintain work area and equipment per Health Department standards
- Follow Starbucks Simple Service Steps and Magic Selling for exceptional customer experience
- Educate, sample, serve craveable food and beverage products
- Follow station specific duties and responsibilities
- Open and/or close area following checklist, verify with Manager on Duty
- Maintain PAR stock levels and standards in product presentations
- Produce and present freshly prepared products following recipes meeting speed of service
- Follow Starbucks merchandising and signing standards
- Maintain personal hygiene and professional dress code per company, Starbucks, Health Department standards
- Foster environment of acceptance and respect for relationships with colleagues, customers, communities
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- No Education or Experience Required
- 1-2 years related experience
- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedural manuals
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
