Responsibilities
- Patrol property on foot, bicycle, or vehicle
- Monitor alarm systems, surveillance cameras, access control systems
- Deliver excellent guest service responding to questions, complaints, conflicts
- Respond to physical threats, altercations, aggressive behavior
- Engage in self-defense, defensive tactics including takedowns, handcuffing, restraining
- Utilize de-escalation and conflict resolution techniques
- Act as first responder in emergencies
- Perform gaming drops and transactions
- Write incident reports
- Serve as dispatcher
- Administer first aid/CPR/AED and Narcan
- Secure scenes, conduct evacuations, summon responders
- Attend recurring mandatory training
- Maintain proficiency with equipment
- Respond to all emergencies
- Observe, report suspicious activity
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in security, customer service, or related role
- Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to successfully complete company Security Officer Academy
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to operate vehicles, radios, and security equipment
- Previous security, law enforcement, or military background preferred
- Experience in resort, casino, or hospitality security environments preferred
