Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct team members to meet daily operational targets
- Be able to safely operate forklifts and cherry pickers within a distribution environment
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols and compliance with company standards
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment and oversee team adherence to maintenance schedules
- Assist with general warehouse tasks and ensure workflow efficiency
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to all Team Members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Ensure accurate reporting and tracking of inventory and task completion
- Ensure trailers and equipment are safe to enter before loading
- Complete correct shipping documentation and system transitions to ensure proper shipment and inventory accuracy
- Ensure prompt communication with clients, drivers, and guests
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years team lead or supervisory experience in a distribution/warehouse environment
- Minimum 2 years of forklift operation experience
- Proficiency in inventory management systems or willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license and forklift certification required
- Physical ability to lift 50-75 pounds regularly and work in varying temperature conditions.
