Duties involve answering calls, welcoming donors, guaranteeing team and donor safety, conducting screenings with vital and finger stick tests, applying Donor Information System, preparing charts, securing accurate records, managing compensation, identifying improvement opportunities, and working varied shifts including Saturdays and Sundays. Uses approved company procedures for changes. Engages Plasma Center Manager for guidance, peers for quality, and donors for exceptional care. Constraints include full-shift mobility, occasional 32-pound lifts, bending tasks, and continual glove use due to bloodborne risks.
Pay starts at $16 per hour, part-time hours in Waterloo, Iowa, demanding afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and stand for entire work shift
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment
- 1 or more years experience in customer or patient facing role preferred
