Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and conduct administrative and programmatic activities of student mental health program
  • Implement mental health program with emphasis on prevention, early detection, and identification of mental health problems
  • Advise center director and wellness services staff on mental health matters
  • Promote coordination and integration of mental health program with other center departments like counseling and recreation
  • Coordinate case management for student behavior, compliance, medication, and treatment progress
  • Assist staff with mental health principles for substance abuse, sexuality, behavior, and communication
  • Provide training to center staff on mental health referrals and coordinate follow-up care
  • Assist with TEAP/TUPP program development, consultation, treatment planning, and referral
  • Provide services to TEAP/TUPP such as program development, training

Requirements

  • Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker
  • Two years related experience
  • Experience with youth required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Valid Utah driver's license with acceptable record unless waived
