This role offers care to geriatric clients in King and Rural Hall, focusing on bathing with soap and towels during 4-hour visits. Geriatric caregivers perform toileting assistance three times daily, nail care with clippers, and range of motion exercises using gentle stretches. The position aids ambulation with walkers for short distances, meal preparation for diabetic diets, and medication reminders via phone alerts.

Caregivers conduct laundry with detergents for 5 loads weekly, bed making with hospital corners, and light housekeeping like dusting 10 rooms per shift. Interaction occurs with 10 clients daily via scheduling app, receiving 24/7 support. A key challenge is traveling to rural areas with variable hours, balancing flexibility with quality in one-on-one ratios.

Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care
- Household support including light housekeeping, laundry, bed making
- Meal preparation and feeding

Requirements
- Minimum one year work experience preferred
- Active North Carolina CNA license
- Reliable transportation
