Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly service to internal and external Customers
  • Assist with loading and unloading baggage, cargo, and mail
  • Guide and direct aircraft during ground movements
  • Receive baggage, air freight, mail, and company materials
  • Prepare records in connection with cargo responsibilities
  • Safeguard baggage, cargo, and mail from weather, loss, or damage
  • Perform interior aircraft cabin cleaning
  • Operate motorized equipment such as belt loaders and tug vehicles
  • Work in terminal and airfreight facilities indoors and outdoors
  • Complete forms and paperwork for work assignments
  • Perform duties of other roles such as Provisioning Agent if needed

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and under stressful situations
  • Ability to read documents and follow instructions
  • Ability to meet physical demands including lifting 70 pounds
  • Ability to wear prescribed uniforms and meet grooming standards
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid state motor vehicle operator's license
  • Ability to obtain SIDA badge and meet airport requirements
