Daily operations involve answering phones, greeting and focusing on donors for safety, screening donors while recording vitals and finger sticks, utilizing Donor Information System, preparing charts, ensuring record accuracy, and handling compensation. Workers support improvements via approved procedures and work various shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, holidays. Interacts with Plasma Center Manager, team for compliance, and external clients for service. Demands full-shift standing, walking, lifting up to 32 pounds, and prolonged glove use due to bloodborne pathogens risk level 1.
Pay starts at $16 hourly, full-time status in West Des Moines, Iowa, with weekends and holidays included. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and stand for entire work shift
