Customers learn about food and non-food products through hands-on demonstrations in retail stores, where associates prepare samples using microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives while explaining features and benefits to potential buyers. Product Connections, part of Acosta Group, runs in-store demonstrations and experiential marketing for over 10,000 experts in retail, marketing, and foodservice sectors, connecting products to consumers via digital events, sponsorships, and omnichannel strategies.
Workers set up event tables, serve food samples, and clean stations with chemicals, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 pounds or occasionally 50 pounds while pushing demonstration carts. They navigate Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe PDF, and electronic systems to submit reports, reporting to supervisors but adhering to 25-hour weekly limits with occasional business needs.
Pay rate starts at $14.00 per hour. Positions are part-time in retail store environments, requiring standing, walking, and physical tasks like handling supplies for 12 hours. Benefits include professional appearance standards and training via client documents, with discretion for role changes based on business.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Adobe PDF
- Local food handlers permit required
