Utility officers patrol buildings, grounds, docks, and work sites, checking doors, gates, and alarms to prevent fire, vandalism, and illegal entry. Industrial and commercial facilities depend on vigilant oversight, detecting hazards like leaks or fires to maintain safe operations.

Work requires patrolling for irregularities, interviewing personnel, setting thermostats, registering inspection trips, and reporting damages via logs. Officers use radio-equipped cars for checks, perform vehicle and pedestrian regulation, and assist in emergencies by sounding alarms. Interactions include supervisors, law enforcement in urgent cases. The role demands short-notice scheduling for all shifts, lifting up to 25 pounds, and fine motor skills for locks.
Compensation is $20 hourly. Positions are full-time with on-call availability. Schedules include first, second, third shifts and weekends. Responsibilities

Requirements
- 21+ years old
- High school diploma
- Valid driver's license
- State security license
- Able to work all schedules short notice
