This position creates personalized shopping experiences at Macy's stores, driving sales across categories and engaging customers in-store and online for events like the 4th of July Fireworks. It assists 500 customers daily with fashion recommendations and product knowledge, building loyalty through digital tools and outreach. The role supports store operations, benefiting shoppers with tailored service and contributing to $24 billion in annual revenue.

Associates greet customers, recover sales floor and fitting rooms, update pricing and signs, and use handheld devices for transactions. They collaborate with peers and leaders to resolve challenges, working across departments like women's wear and cosmetics. Interactions involve managers for goals and training. A challenge includes lifting 25 pounds while standing for two-hour shifts and adapting to fast-paced floor transitions.

Full-time schedule typically 30+ hours weekly, including weekends and evenings, with benefits eligibility at 30 hours. Requirements

  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Ability to read and understand policies in English
  • Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues
  • Responsible for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts
  • At least 2 years of selling or customer experience preferred
