Work uses personal computers and mobile devices with applications and systems, requiring proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe. A constraint includes standing for shifts, lifting up to 25 pounds, pushing carts with appliances, and adhering to physical demands like walking, reaching 65 inches, and contacting cleaning supplies.

Pay starts at $16.00 per hour, with assignments not exceeding 25 hours weekly. Locations include retail store environments with limited travel. Responsibilities

  • Complete in-store food and non-food demonstrations
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented
  • Prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies
  • Intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner
  • Maintain an overall professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job
  • Properly sets up and prepares Event Table for execution
  • Achieves 100% execution on assigned work
  • Assists with preparation for client visits and completes audit corrections
  • Maintains a clean, sterile and safe work station using cleaning chemicals
  • Practice food safety procedures when preparing and cooking food using concentrations and temperatures
  • Prepare foods and beverages using the required appliances, such as cooking utensils, knives, convection oven, coffee maker, electric fryer, microwaves
  • Be in contact with cleaning supplies
  • Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives
  • Complete expense reports as per Company Policy
  • Accurately prepare and submit all on-line requirements on the same day as Event execution

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months' related experience and/or training preferred
  • Local Food handlers permit may be required
  • Proficient use of a Personal Computer and familiarity with Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Daily access to the worldwide web with the ability to meet system requirements, printer and phone
  • English is the primary language skill; however, bilingual skills may be required based on business
  • Individuals must ensure a professional appearance and proper grooming is in order
  • Ability to regularly stand and walk of the shift
  • Reach with hands and arms (including conducting tasks overhead up to 65 inches)
  • Have visual ability to read instructions and perform events
  • Stoop; Kneel; Squat; Climb or step up ladder; Balance
  • Lift and carry up to 25 pounds (including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds)
  • Ability to use pressure hoses to prepare wash stations
