Managing financial planning and analysis for Air Dominance & Strike oversees consolidated forecasts, budgets, reporting for P&L, headcount, key drivers in military systems. This role integrates inputs from business lines, translates results into insights, shapes annual plans, prioritizes resources for AI-powered command centers like Lattice OS, impacting androgen-end defenses in strategic competitions by ensuring alignment in aerospace engineering-heavy portfolios.
Anduril manufactures defense technology for US allies, transforming military designs with autonomy, AI, vision, sensors, networking in months, not years. Recognized for rapid innovation, they sell systems with operating budgets larger than traditional contractors.
In this position, you consolidate AD&S forecasts, lead monthly reporting with insights, drive quarterly cycles, develop scenario models for ramps or costs, partner with FP&A on templates, consolidate exec-ready narratives. Interactions include business-line FP&A, Engineering, Program Management, Corporate Finance for high-performing cadences, with a constraint of operating autonomously in ambiguity with proficiency in Excel, modeling.
Salary range is $129,000 to $171,000 annually, varying by experience. Work is full-time at Anduril hubs or remote for US authorized, standard schedule with travel. Responsibilities
- Own consolidated AD&S forecast across business lines for P&L, headcount, drivers
- Lead monthly reporting: actuals review, variance, KPI tracking, narratives
- Drive quarterly forecasting: assumptions, coordinate, consolidate, present
- Lead AOP development: model, inputs, assumptions, packages for reviews
- Develop scenario models for program ramps, costs, hiring
- Partner with business-line FP&A for standardization
- Identify process improvements for accuracy, speed, usefulness
- Provide insights for accountability in spend
- Maintain visibility into portfolio investment including R&D/IRAD
- Reporting and forecast commentary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related; MBA or CPA/CFA plus
- 5+ years in corporate FP&A, investment banking, consulting
- Ownership of monthly/quarterly reporting cadences
- Advanced Excel and driver-based modeling
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to manage projects in deadline-driven environment
- Autonomous work with minimal direction
- Financial planning tools like Anaplan, NetSuite, Oracle, Foundry
- US work authorization required
