BGIS provides integrated real estate management, including facilities, energy, workplace consulting, and capital planning across 1,200 clients in industries like data centers and corporate offices. Engineers perform maintenance on building systems like HVAC and electrical to achieve 99% uptime, inspect equipment for faults, troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools, and recommend system upgrades. They use materials like diagnostic software and hand tools, interacting with vendors, contractors, and managers via a ticketing system. Salary ranges from $55K to $75K annually, with remote options and cell phone, computer provided. Hours total 168 per year accruing paid time off, including 7 holidays and 2 floating days. Requirements
