Interact primarily with internal departments and external vendors. Challenge involves 0-25% travel while handling negotiations and multitasking in data center contexts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform contract/subcontract review, negotiations, interface with customer/vendor personnel
  • Manage vendor relationships, agreements, purchase orders, pricing
  • Direct entire RFP process from development to execution
  • Draft maintenance agreements and address business, financial, legal terms
  • Coordinate with departments for efficient deliverables
  • Interact with contractors on scopes of work, service frequency, cost
  • Prepare RFP packages and evaluate responses
  • Develop, issue, negotiate subcontract agreements
  • Process contract extensions and addendums
  • Produce reports via internal system for budgets, work orders, history
  • Manage contracts and procurement department for efficiency and performance
  • Oversee staff of 5-10 employees

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • 7+ years related experience in contract management/negotiation
  • Strong interpersonal, writing, and analytic skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills, attention to detail, organization, multitasking, ability to develop relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of data center or mission critical industry preferred
  • MMS software and contract management system experience preferred
  • Ability to travel 0%-25%
