Job Description
Convincing global private equity firms to select IQ-EQ for administration and compliance services directly impacts investment success, solving complex regulatory and reporting challenges. This role leads efforts to expand client relationships, offering end-to-end solutions in administration, accounting, reporting, and compliance for the investment sector worldwide. Professionals handle strategic initiatives that include structuring prospect-specific value propositions and coordinating proposals using the company's global data platform and proprietary tools.
IQ-EQ works with 13 of the world's top-15 private equity firms, employing 5,800 people across 25 jurisdictions and managing assets over US$750 billion. The organization provides end-to-end services via two joint venture entities, Everton and QS, supported by ESG commitments, technology, and relationships.
The position involves acting as the primary contact for prospect relationships, broadening executive engagement using CRM systems and collaborating with senior leadership for bespoke solutions. Marketing activities include leading presentations, participating in cross-functional teams to prepare proposals, and adapting to industry trends for retention. One requirement involves working weekends or holidays occasionally to meet client demands.
Compensation ranges from $150,000 to $200,000 depending on experience and location. Responsibilities
- Cultivate relationships at executive and operational levels with prospects, becoming expert on their structure and goals
- Act as primary point of contact, expanding engagement across C-suite, aligning with goals, offering tailored solutions, positioning IQ-EQ as integral
- Monitor industry trends and competitors to adapt strategies ensuring long-term retention
- Provide feedback on product functionality and market trends to drive innovation
- Lead creation of prospect-specific value propositions differentiating IQ-EQ
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver bespoke solutions, leveraging global network
- Lead cross-functional teams in proposal and presentation preparation
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for seamless communication and alignment
- Maintain up-to-date prospect activity records in CRM
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, applied mathematics, or related field
- 10+ years experience in business development, client relationship management, or similar roles in financial services, private equity, or asset management
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and close high-value deals with understanding of competitive landscapes
- Exceptional leadership with ability to influence across levels
- Strong financial acumen including P&L management, budgeting, and financial modeling
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Comfort in fast-paced, data-driven environments focusing on results
