Commercial Dock and Door Service Technician

In this role, you troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment like loading docks, doors, and dock-levelers in commercial buildings, warehouses, and facilities using mechanical and electrical skills. The position involves traveling to customer sites to perform preventative and emergency maintenance, saving time on assets valued at high costs.

Miner delivers service and equipment solutions for warehousing and materials management, operating branch-based across North America. With over 20 years in customer-focused emergency repairs and maintenance, Miner serves diverse clients needing efficient operations.

Tasks include troubleshooting issues with forklifts, welding equipment, and hydraulic systems, inspecting and installing units, operating vehicles like service trucks, completing paperwork on handhelds and digitally, and scheduling jobs independently. You use tools such as air plasma arc cutters, oxy/acet torches, and safety gear, interacting with dispatchers, site managers, and facility staff. A key challenge is maintaining safety while handling complex repairs in varying environments like aircraft hangers or police stations.
