Automotive technicians diagnose and repair vehicles in modern facilities equipped with factory scan tools and diagnostic equipment. They perform inspections, troubleshoot issues across makes and models, and promote safety standards. This work ensures customers receive reliable repairs and extends vehicle lifespans. Technicians build experience in diverse repairs for long-term careers.
Christian Brothers Automotive operates 300 locations nationwide, offering precision auto repair since 1982. The company provides consistent workloads, free training, and full-time technician support. Shops include fully air-conditioned environments with closed weekends for family time.
Technicians diagnose and fix vehicles on domestic and foreign models using hand tools and computer navigation. They complete courtesy inspections, follow high safety and cleanliness standards, and communicate with the service department. Interactions occur with service advisors and team members. A constraint involves lifting over 100 pounds, working in tight spaces, and maneuvering tools above head level. Professional appearance and aptitude for new skills are required.
Compensation reaches up to $45 per hour or higher based on qualification. Schedules are full-time Monday to Friday with closed weekends at 1079 Hog Mountain Road, Watkinsville, GA. Responsibilities
- Use knowledge and skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for guests
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns
- Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Work closely with the service department and communicate effectively
- Work together with other Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver results
Requirements
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- ASE Certifications preferred
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
